Gold Coast wins World Cup Triathlon
Gold Coaster Emma Moffat was yesterday crowned world triathlon champion after winning the series grand final on home turf.Backing up our claim the Gold Coast is the health and fitness capital of Australia - possibly the world.
Emma Moffat's fourth win of the season over Sweden's Lisa Norden was a tough fight.
The newly opened Gold Coast Broadwater development made the event organised by Queensland Events a very enjoyable occasion.
The crowd along what is called thunder alley really got behind all athletes and especially the Aussies.
